Week 8 Blog Post
The song that I chose to listen to this week was Hotel California by the Eagles. As soon as I saw this song on the list I knew for sure I wanted to listen to it, I love this song. My dad would always play this song growing up so it's really nostalgic for me. I just love how all there voices go with the music, they go so perfectly. I also really like all of the instruments that are in this song, especially the guitar. It definitely makes me wish I learned to play the guitar. This is really similar to the music I listen to now, so I would definitely listen to this in my free time, and a lot of times I do haha. The one thing that wasn't super awesome was that this song is 6 1/2 minutes long, so it took me a long time to listen to it three times. Other than that I love everything about this song.
My dad loves this song so just like you I grew up listening to this song. If my dad didn't make me listen to this song I would definitely not be a big fan of this song but having my dad make me listen to this song definitely made me grow to love this song.
ReplyDeleteI also did this blog song so I think that legit!!! anyway, I loved how you expressed the vocal talent and guitar talent of this song. I noticed that these artists were extremely unique. When they played the guitar together, they harmonized with electric guitars. That is so hard to do, so i definitely agree. One thing that made the song better for me, was the up and under dynamics that were hidden in every part of the song. Well Done
