My Blue Heaven The song that I chose to listen to was, My Blue Heaven by Gene Austin. I really liked the vibe that I got from this song. It was very peaceful, and I loved the nature sounds in the background. The sound in the back sounded like rain, and occasionally they would have a bird whistling in it. I feel like this song could almost be a lullaby because of how peaceful and calming it sounds. Gene Austin's voice in this song sounds so relaxed, it goes perfect with the music. It's almost as if the music is playing to his voice, instead of him singing to the music. He definitely sounds like he is crooning with this song. My favorite part of the song is when it would go really fast on a higher octave, and than slow down really fast on a lower octave. From the beginning of the song it's fast and upbeat, all the way until the song is finished. I think the target audience, during the time period when it was released, is for teenagers. I do not think that a lot of parents or adults would like this song, from what I know of this time period. Overall, I ...
