Week 11 Blog Post
The song that I chose this week was Walk This Way by Run DMC and Aerosmith. The reason that I chose this song is because I remember doing it on Just Dance haha. I love the beat to this song, it's super catchy and I'm always bobbing my head to it. One of the things that I really like about this song are the instruments in it, and I love the solos that they have. Another thing that I noticed was how they are using more technology in their songs, it gives the song a cool beat. The voices just go super well with the music, it is such a good mix. I personally love this song and it is very similar to the music I listen to now. I think the target audience of this song would for sure be the younger generation. I can't imagine older adults really enjoying it, but maybe some would. It's a great song, and it obviously has had a lasting impact if it was on Just Dance haha.
I like that you used to dance to it on just dance haha! having a personal connection to the song makes it that much more enjoyable and fun to listen to. I also agree it is a great song you can head bop to. I also agree with you that the target audience is the younger generation and can see it to be hard for adults to listen to haha.
ReplyDeleteAhh this song on just dance freaking slapped so hard. I really enjoy this one too. After listening to this song it will for sure be in my head the rest of the day. I think the beat in the song is really unique and cool. I really do love this song too.
